Intern Spotlight: Thank You, Jordan Starling!

Charlotte Hall Veterans Home would like to thank Jordan Starling for completing her internship with our Volunteer Services Department.

Jordan, a student at Towson University, worked alongside Director of Volunteer Services Sadè Herbert as an Activities Assistant Intern. Throughout her internship, she gained hands-on experience while assisting with resident activities and events, Food Truck Fridays, Mocha Mondays, the Volunteer Appreciation Banquet, the Gift Shop, Commander’s Closet, and administrative projects.

Jordan recently wrapped up her internship with an end-of-year presentation highlighting her experience, what she learned, and some of the special moments she shared with our residents.

Internships at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home give students an opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience while spending time with and making a difference in the lives of Maryland's veterans.
